Rapid support when needed. The Aktimed SPORT zinc-oxide adhesive bandage combines mechanical compression with integrated plant-based actives (Arnica montana D6, Rhus toxicodendron and Ruta graveolens). Suitable for strains, sprains, bruises and swelling, for acute relief and chronic musculoskeletal complaints.

Application / instructions
The Aktimed zinc-oxide adhesive bandage is ready to use. The elastic, non-slip support and compression bandage is simple to apply.

• Remove bandage: Take the ready-to-use zinc-oxide adhesive bandage from the airtight foil packaging.
• Apply bandage: Hold the bandage with light tension, similar to a conventional bandage, and wrap around the swollen or injured area.
• Multi-layer application for extended cooling: Apply in overlapping layers to prolong the cooling effect.
• Joint position: Ensure wrapped joints remain in a functional (natural, movable) position.
• Fixation: Cover the applied zinc-oxide bandage with the supplied fixation bandage for additional hold and clothing protection.

Safety information

• Do not apply the bandage too tightly to avoid circulatory restriction or numbness. Remove immediately and seek medical advice if such signs occur.
• Do not apply directly to open wounds; cover wounds appropriately before use.
• If in doubt or symptoms persist, consult a physician.
• Refrigeration (e.g. in a refrigerator) can increase the cooling effect.
