Description

Overview
PivotOne adopts a dual‑mode structure that enables both hand‑tremor correction training and standard suturing training in a single unit. In tremor‑correction mode, resting a forceps lightly in one of five circumferential grooves helps suppress hand tremor. In standard training mode, use the central device hole for conventional suturing and knot‑tying practice. The portable design allows immediate setup and practice at home, in the department, or while traveling.

Training method
  • 1. Standard suturing practice (5–10 min): use the central device hole to perform conventional suturing and knot‑tying to assess current handling skills.
  • 2. Tremor‑correction practice (5–10 min): place a forceps lightly in one of the five peripheral notches and maintain contact with the notch base while performing suturing slowly. If contact is lost the forceps will move, promoting motor learning for steadier handling.
  • 3. Repeat standard suturing (5–10 min): return to the central hole and perform suturing again to observe improved stability.
