The large pan (almost 5″ in diameter) and large sample capacity (up to 120 grams) allows heterogeneous samples to be accurately tested. Also, homogenous samples may be quickly dried by spreading them on the large heating tray. Quartz heating elements provide 3-5 times the life of halogen competitors, while providing the same fast start-up times.
