The FAST Sphyg by Koven is an aneroid sphygmomanometer with a built-in battery-operated pump and push-button inflation. Its patented cuff-sensing technology detects cuff size before inflation to streamline setup and reduce user input. The design reduces manual bulb pumping and associated hand and wrist strain while supporting a range of cuff sizes.

Operation
Inflation is initiated with a single push button and deflation is controlled via a trigger mechanism for fine, user-controlled pressure release. The handheld ergonomic housing is designed for comfortable clinical use and compatibility with standard stethoscope or Doppler auscultation.

Indications for Use
The FAST Sphyg is intended as an aneroid sphygmomanometer for indirect measurement of arterial blood pressure using a stethoscope or Doppler. It is intended for hospital and clinical settings and for pediatric through adult patients; neonates are excluded.

Contraindications
Safety and effectiveness with neonate cuff sizes 1–5 have not been established and use in neonates is contraindicated.
