Retinal images of outstanding quality
Kowa is a pioneer in the combination of non-mydriatic and mydriatic retinal cameras. The VX-10a has the following modes: non-mydriatic, mydriatic and FA with an image angle of 50° in fully mydriatic mode. The optics are mounted on a pivoting arm to photograph peripheral areas of the retina. In SP mode, both color and FA images are possible in case of insufficient mydriasis. The colour and FA images can be displayed on the LCD monitor and photographed with the latest Nikon® digital camera attachment. F.A.F. shots can also be taken using optional accessories.
>Easy to use
The camera is easy to operate, its controls are designed for use in darkened rooms, multi-stage flash settings ensure the correct exposure for all application modes.
Powerful digital imaging software VK-2
With the digital imaging software VK-2, retinal images captured with the Kowa retinal camera, but also images from other sources, such as a scanner, are captured and stored quickly and easily. The input of video signals via USB or IEEE1394 (Firewire®) is supported by switching between the instruments with 1 click. Images can be enlarged for viewing, and filters (e.g. red-free filters) are available.
