Description
The Retrievette is designed to grasp the strings or body of an intrauterine device (IUD) for its removal.
Polypropylene device which is made up of:
a concave part with 3 notches and a rounded tip
a handle located at the bottom which allows a proper grip.
Through a rotating intrauterine motion, gently presses against the uterine wall, the notches of the Retrievette grip the IUD thread, pulling it towards the external orifice of the cervix.
