Description

Overview
Labotemp Formaldehyde Autoclave FHA-01 is a low-temperature sterilization system for heat-sensitive medical instruments and laboratory equipment. It uses a controlled combination of formaldehyde solution, steam and distilled water to perform reliable sterilization cycles at 60°C and 76°C. The unit integrates a large sterilization chamber (≥150 L total, ≥120 L effective), Siemens PLC with industrial touch screen, PID temperature control, automatic formaldehyde dosing, vacuum pump-assisted rapid evaporation, automatic cleaning and drying, and integrated data recording and printing. Multiple safety protections and a negative-pressure working system reduce the risk of formaldehyde leakage.

Key features
  • Siemens PLC with industrial touch screen for automated control and monitoring
  • Low-temperature sterilization suitable for heat-sensitive surgical and diagnostic instruments
  • Large chamber capacity: ≥150 L total (≥120 L effective)
  • PID temperature control for precise and stable sterilization at 60°C and 76°C
  • Rapid evaporation and vacuum pump technology to improve formaldehyde vaporization and penetration
  • Automatic formaldehyde dosing and controlled single-cycle dosage (0.6–1.3 kg)
  • Automatic cleaning and drying to reduce residual sterilant on instruments
  • Integrated cycle data recording and printing for traceability
  • Multiple safety systems: over-temperature alarm, door interlock, pressure monitoring
  • Negative-pressure design to minimize formaldehyde leakage

Applications
  • Sterilization of heat-sensitive surgical instruments in operating theatres and sterile supply units
  • Reprocessing of endoscopes and delicate diagnostic devices that cannot withstand high temperatures
  • Sterilization of temperature-sensitive medical devices such as catheters and plastic instruments
  • Decontamination of laboratory instruments in research and clinical laboratories
  • Use in hospitals, clinics and healthcare facilities requiring validated low-temperature sterilization
