Description

Product Overview
Labotemp Cryostat Microtome CRM-01 is a freezing microtome (cryotome) engineered for rapid frozen tissue sectioning in histopathology. Intended for intraoperative diagnosis and urgent pathology workflows, the CRM-01 delivers uniform thin sections with an adjustable cut thickness from 0.5 µm to 100 µm. The device features a fully enclosed cryogenic chamber to maintain stable freezing conditions and protect operators.

Key functions and design highlights
  • Adjustable section thickness: 0.5–100 µm (see specifications for increment details)
  • Fully enclosed cryogenic chamber for stable cooling and operator safety
  • Integrated UV disinfection / UV sterilization system
  • Specimen retraction function to protect blade and sample integrity
  • Rigid microtome blade holder compatible with disposable microtome blades/knives
  • Large-area quick freezing shelf for processing multiple specimens
  • High-brightness cold LED illumination for specimen observation
  • 16-position hand wheel for safe and precise manual operation
  • Equipped with Danfoss (Secop) compressor

Applications
  • Rapid frozen sectioning in hospitals and surgical departments
  • Pathology laboratories for intraoperative diagnosis
  • Oncology departments and research laboratories requiring fast and accurate tissue diagnosis
