Labotemp Cryostat Microtome CRM-01 is a freezing microtome designed for rapid frozen tissue sectioning in histopathology. Intended for intraoperative diagnosis and urgent pathology workflows, the CRM-01 produces uniform thin sections with adjustable thickness from 0.5 µm to 100 µm and features a fully enclosed cryogenic chamber to maintain stable freezing conditions and operator safety.

Key functional description
The cryogenic chamber supports controlled freezing with the specimen head reaching down to −60 °C and the freeze shelf down to −55 °C. Controlled specimen movement provides a 65 mm vertical stroke and 22 mm horizontal stroke. Specimen retraction up to 100 µm protects the blade and improves section quality. The rigid blade holder accepts disposable microtome blades and knives; forward/backward speeds of 0.9 m/s and 0.45 m/s facilitate efficient positioning.
