Description

The W3/062 is a WVTR (water vapor transmission rate) test system based on the cup method for precise measurement of films and sheet materials. It combines automated weighing, controlled temperature/humidity and data management for laboratory and production testing.

Principle
Under controlled test temperature a constant humidity difference is established between the two sides of the specimen. Water vapor permeates through the sample to the dry side; the system measures weight change of the test dish over time to calculate WVTR and related parameters.
