Overview
The HST-H3 is a laboratory heat seal tester for determining heat seal temperature, dwell time and sealing pressure of composite films to define production parameters. It features dedicated heat-sealing jaws, microcomputer control and interfaces for data export and remote operation.

Test principle
Preset temperature, pressure and dwell time; place specimen between upper and lower jaws and start. Sealing cycle is completed automatically under controlled conditions.

• Basic: Smooth-surface films — plastic films, plastic-plastic composite films, paper-plastic composites, coextruded films, aluminized films, aluminium foil composites. Sealing surface smooth; width customizable.
• Decorative/patterned films: Plastic and composite films with decorative surfaces; sealing jaw surface can be customized.
• Extended (custom): Customized jaws/moulds for items such as jelly-cup lids (round upper jaw with matching lower mould), sealing ends of flexible plastic tubes, and other special packaging forms.
