The RT-01 Ink Rub Tester is designed for abrasion resistance testing of surface coating layers of printed materials, including ink layers and photosensitive (PS) coatings. It identifies abrasion failures, ink detachment and insufficient coating hardness.
Features- 4 test modes: dry rub, wet rub, wet transfer and wet smear; 4 selectable test speeds: 21, 42, 85, 106 cpm.
- Dual stations with arc reciprocating movement allow simultaneous testing of identical or distinct specimens.
- Power-failure memory and audible buzzer for safe operation.
- Microcomputer control with PVC operation panel, LCD and menu interface for easy operation and data viewing.
Testing StandardsTesting Applications- Paper printing materials
Assess abrasion resistance of ink layers and analyze failures such as poor abrasion resistance and ink detachment. - Photosensitive coating layers
Evaluate abrasion resistance of PS coatings and investigate issues like reduced printing force on PS plates.
