Plasma EDGE™ offers all the advantages of the bipolar resection with an efficiency and a safety higher than a monopolar current:
- irrigation through saline solution
- ignition of the plasma without any delay
- efficient hemostasis (low transoperatory or postoperatory bleeding)
- no carbonization of the tissues, nor thermal diffusion
- true bipolar electrode with return of the current integrated inside the electrode which avoids the electrification of the sheaths that are in contact with the patient
