Product description
Manufactured from solvent-resistant nylon mesh, these biopsy bags are designed for processing and containment of small biopsy specimens. The mesh allows fluid exchange while retaining tissue: the fixative and specimen are poured into the bag, the fixative filters through, and the biopsies remain inside. After closing the bag it is placed in a standard biopsy cassette and processed within routine histology workflows. After processing the bag is opened and the specimen recovered for paraffin embedding.
