The HistoCore PEARL tissue processor is a fully enclosed histology processor designed for laboratory safety and space efficiency. It processes up to 200 cassettes per run while maintaining a compact footprint.

Optimized fume protection
Triple-layer fume protection minimizes staff exposure to hazardous vapours: extraction at the retort, an external exhaust adapter and an activated carbon filter.

Intuitive technology
An xylene-resistant touchscreen with a multilingual, guided interface reduces operational errors. Log files are exportable via USB for traceability and record-keeping.

Operation and maintenance
Drawer-style paraffin baths simplify filling and draining. Spill-collection trays beneath paraffin baths and reagent bottles and an easy-to-clean retort with level sensor support safe, efficient maintenance.

Specimen quality and process control
Three pre-validated protocols (Biopsy, Standard Overnight, Cleaning) standardize workflow. A Reagent Management System (RMS) monitors reagent usage by cassette count, processing cycles or days to support process control.

Consumables and accessories
A validated range of consumables is available, including 3.5 L reagent bottles, three paraffin baths (liquid paraffin or paraffin pellets), and a basket configuration compatible with the HistoCore Arcadia embedding system (one basket holds 100 cassettes).
