Description
α1-acid glycoprotein at is a quantitative turbidimetric assay for the measurement of α1-acid glycoprotein (α1-AG) in human serum or plasma.
Anti-human α1-AG antibodies form insoluble complexes when mixed with samples containing α1-AG. The light scattering of the immunocomplexes depends upon the α1- AG concentration of the patient sample, and can be quantified by comparison from a calibrator of know α1-AG concentration.
