The Corival Eccentric is a specialized ergometer that supports reverse (eccentric) pedaling, offering unique benefits for medical training, rehabilitation, and sports science. Based on the proven Corival platform, this ergometer provides high accuracy and user comfort while enabling targeted muscle control with reduced cardiovascular strain.
By pedaling against a motor-driven flywheel, the user experiences resistance in the eccentric phase of motion. This method is ideal for training muscle coordination and strength while minimizing metabolic load—making it particularly suitable for post-operative recovery, aging populations, and athletic rehabilitation.
The ergometer is standard equipped with both a 7" programmable control unit and a 3.5" display, providing detailed control and instant feedback. It is also fully compatible with Lode's rehabilitation software and ECG/pulmonary monitoring systems via the integrated communication module.
