This innovative technology not only prioritizes the well-being of laboratory staff but also ensures compliance with the most recent safety standards. Dual draft ventilation In the dual draft configuration, backdraft and downdraft dynamics are combined to pull formalin fumes and other dangerous vapors and aerosols both down and away from personnel, from the rear and the bottom. Airflow is drawn through the perforated work surface panels and a backdraft grid located vertically behind the work surface. For enhanced operator safety, the backdraft system grid is fixed to reach a maximum height of 130 cm so that harmful fumes cannot reach the operator's respiratory tract. • Ventilation system certified by an accredited company for smoke containment* • Safe stress test carried out in cooperation with Polo Universitario of Prato using 38% formalin, ProCeas formaldheyde analyzer** and FLIR Optical Gas Imaging (OGI) cold thermal imaging camera, which detected a value of 0.05 ppm*** homogeneous over the entire length of the workstation during both the “at rest” and “in operation” phases.
