FlexCare is designed for mobile patients who are not at risk of developing pressure ulcers. The weight recommendation is less than 150 kg. The mattress (thickness 13 cm) is made of fire-resistant, durable and flexible foam (density 40 kg/m³) with grooves on both sides. The grooved profile improves mattress breathability and bending of the mattress when the bed is adjusted to different positions. The mattress hygiene cover is a polyester hygiene fabric coated with polyurethane, which is impermeable to liquids but still breathable. The material is Oeko-Tex certified, bi-elastic, antimicrobial *) and fire retardant. The zipper is protected by a drip flap to prevent moisture from entering the inside of the hygiene cover. The cover can be machine washed at 70-95°C when turned inside out. FlexCare Rescue: The FlexCare hygiene mattress is also available with a rescue cover. The fixed rescue cover is designed for rapid evacuation of the patient for example in case of fire.
