Ultra-lightweight, 300-bar carbon composite oxygen cylinders with Luxfer’s proprietary L7X alloy inner liner.
Manufactured in Europe, each ultra-lightweight L7X® 300-bar carbon composite oxygen cylinder has an inner liner made from Luxfer’s proprietary L7X alloy, which is strengthened with an aerospace-grade carbon-fibre wrapping that completely surrounds the liner.
These extremely durable cylinders initially gained favor for patients suffering from respiratory and lung diseases, including Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD). They are now also used by paramedics and other emergency first-responders. Because of their lighter weight, compact size, higher capacity and excellent portability, Luxfer’s full-wrapped cylinders are becoming popular in emergency and pre-hospital care, in which reduced weight and increased filling capacity provide significant advantages to ambulatory patients.
Features and benefits:
L7X 300-bar cylinders deliver greater volumes of oxygen in the lightest-weight packages available.
Provide up to 50 percent more oxygen than similar-sized 200-bar cylinders.
Reduce firefighters’ non-fire emergency injuries, such as strain, sprain and muscular pain caused by carrying extra weight.
High pressure means increased usable gas per cylinder.
Proven Luxfer cylinder technology used for many years in SCBA applications.
