Explorer 8 is used in detection of periodontal pockets that are not deeper than third dental root. It offers high precision to a dentist while working With the added advantage of ball-end, CP2 gives a better assessment of gingival pocket depth by increasing tactile sensitivity. It does not damage the surrounding tissue. Periodontal probes are used for measurement of a tooth’s pocket depth to assess the state of periodontium health. Periodontal probes are marked with quality black color marking, that enhances the instrument life and last longer as compared to the other probes available in the market.
