Description

Gracey curettesGracey curette 11-12Model: 982-1112 Gracey 11-12 by MA Dental is used for removing deep subgingival calculus from premolars and molars. Gracey curettes are used for root planning, deep scaling and periodontal debridement. They are primarily used for mesial surfaces of molars and premolars It is a fully titanium coated- instrument and has a 9.5 mm hollow, lightweight handle. Gracey curettes are one of the main instruments used for scaling and root planning. Gracey curettes are especially ideal for subgingival calculus removal because the design of the instrument allows for better adaptation to the anatomy of the roots. Standard Gracey curettes are generally used in a set to scale the dentition completely. The offset blade of standard Gracey curettes provide the best working angulation for the surface of the tooth.
