Rigid Gracey 11-12 by InstruDents X is used in deep-scaling, periodontal debriment and root planning. It contains an offset blade that provide the ideal angulation for working on tooth surface.
It is primarily used for mesial surfaces of molars and premolars.
Rigid Gracey's blade shank is thicker and more rigid, and it's working end is slightly wider than in the standard model. It permits the use of greater pressure.
