OverviewThe Zetasizer Core is a high-throughput light scattering platform that combines Dynamic Light Scattering (DLS), Static Light Scattering (SLS) and, in the DSF variant, Intrinsic Differential Scanning Fluorimetry (DSF) in a single microwell-plate workflow. It is designed to accelerate biologics discovery and development by delivering multi-parameter stability and structural data at scale. The system supports standard microwell plates (96, 384, 1536) and requires no proprietary consumables.

- 4 µL minimum sample volume (1536-well plate)
- 5 clicks from setup to results (ZS Discover software)
- Up to 192 samples per minute throughput
- Built on 35+ years of DLS expertise
Features- Combines DLS, SLS and DSF (DSF available in Zetasizer Core DSF) in a single automated plate workflow
- Dedicated SLS optical path for quantification of protein self-association and repulsion (A2/B22)

Which model is right for you (summary)Zetasizer Core DSF: Combines DLS and SLS with DSF to map sizing and aggregation across automated thermal ramps and capture structural unfolding events. Best for protein pre-formulation screening, structural biology R&D and workflows requiring thermal denaturation data (T_m).
Zetasizer Core: High-throughput DLS and SLS for physical and colloidal stability screening (sizing, aggregation, shelf-life). Best for routine formulation testing, QC and scale-up monitoring where thermal unfolding data is not required.
Additional notesThe platform supports barcode reader integration and plate presence sensing, modular field-replaceable units for reduced downtime, system self-diagnostics and remote support functionality. OmniTrust (21 CFR Part 11) compliance package and other options are noted as coming Q1 2027.
