Description Perforated Drain - Perforated design maximises drainage, and prevents obstruction/occlusion of the drainage aperture. - Translucent structure enables routine visualization of fluid flow within the drain. - A range of internal and external diameter combinations are available to meet clinical requirements. Multitubular Drain - Multilumen, strip design, allows the tubes to be separated, producing a tree-shaped multi drain. - Useful for delicate, low bleed areas such as the hand, foot or breast. - Available in two lengths to meet clinical requirements. Ribbon Drain - Flat, ribbon, design makes the drain useful for delicate low bleed areas such as the hand, foot or breast. - Opaque colour contains Barium Sulphate (BaSO4) which may aid visibility under X-ray. Intended Use: Medasil Silicone drains are intended for use when a consistent drainage flow is required for the removal of fluid and exudate that have accumulated following surgery. They are for short term use only (up to 29 days). Device Description: The drains are manufactured from silicone elastomer which is biocompatible, latex and phthalate-free.
