Overview
Medel FAMILY PLUS is a piston-type compressor nebulizer system designed for home and clinical use. It is supplied with the Medeljet Plus nebulizer featuring a breath-enhanced double-valve system to increase treatment efficiency and reduce drug waste. All accessories can be stored in the included Medel carry bag. Medical device: Class IIa.

Modes

• MODE A: Maximum therapy effectiveness and minimum drug waste (turn the valve to A mode to close it).
• MODE B: Maximum speed of nebulization (turn the valve to B mode to open it).

Mode A details
In MODE A the breath-enhanced system is active: compressed air produces a fine aerosol. The inspiratory valve opens during patient inhalation allowing additional air intake and increasing nebulization output. The expiratory valve opens during patient exhalation, minimizing drug waste and contamination.
