The COP 30 is a simple yet powerful cooling plate. It is ideal for cooling paraffin blocks in embedding molds right after dispensing, in order to prepare them for sectioning with the microtome, and makes a great addition to the workplace. Within ca. 30 minutes, the working temperature of -15 °C can be reached. The large polished stainless steel surface offers space for up to 100 standard paraffin blocks. Without any limitations to the left, right and front, the blocks can easiliy be placed and sorted. A circumferential heating tape prevents the edge area from icing up. Spacious design The COP 30 is controlled via an intuitive membrane keyboard to set the desired temperature. During the operation, the current temperature is shown in a digital display above the cooling surface. The flat housing top offers additional space for small tools and accessories used in the process.
