Operating principles. Relative to a small cooling load, resistance heaters are pulsed endlessly with a PID controller to ensure precise temperature control even at ambient temperatures while maximizing energy efficiency. Humidification works on a similar principle: while the evaporator coil produces a small but constant dehumidifying effect, ultrasonic transducers pump water vapor back into the room for finite control. Meditech cold rooms do not use steam boilers that are subject to corrosion over time, that present a high energy load, and introduce an uncontrolled and independent heat source into the room, thereby compromising uniformity performance.
