The Medline HS-2321BL, 21.5 Litre Advanced Steam Steriliser is a B-class steam steriliser ideal for use in clinics, laboratories, small operating rooms, veterinary practices and dental laboratories. It is capable of sterilising and drying medical devices which prove difficult by normal means, including hollow loads such as tubes or endoscopes, and porous loads such as sponges or textiles. This steriliser satisfies the sterility assurance level (SAL = 10-6, EN 556) demanded from international standards, and their sterilising power has been fully verified by passing the Hollow Load A test (Helix test) specified in European standards (EN 13060, EN867-5) within 3.5 minutes at 134°C. The sterilising chamber is equipped with a jacket surrounding the circular chamber wall for generating saturated steam, and has the following advantages: The jacket helps to maintain the structure of the chamber, chamber temperature deviation is minimised which aids accurate and reproducible sterilisation runs, and sterilising time is dramatically reduced.
