Product overview
The Megalux LED is an LED light-curing unit developed using current LED technology. Using high-performance LEDs emitting in the blue spectrum, it enables polymerisation of common light-curing dental materials such as composite filling materials, adhesives, fissure sealants and light-curing cements.

Performance and usability
The device delivers 1,200 mW/cm² with the standard 8 mm focus optical fibre and 1,600 mW/cm² with the 6 mm focus fibre. It features an integrated soft start and selectable exposure times of 10 s and 20 s. A built-in lithium-ion battery allows cordless operation. The fanless high-performance cooling block permits quiet operation and sustained use without overload. A light-checker in the charging pod enables verification of LED intensity.
