SSC is a shock-absorbing structure that interacts with the needle at the moment of puncture. Through elastic deformation and energy conversion it reduces impact and stabilizes the penetration process, contributing to a more controlled and comfortable puncture.

Glucoject Dual Extra (related lancing device) — cleaning & safety
The Glucoject Dual Extra device features an Inner Cap Cleaning function: the outer cap can be removed to access and clean the inner cap, reducing microbial growth risk. The device offers 9 penetration depth settings with guidance markers (1 for thin/soft skin, 3 for average skin, 5 for thick/calloused skin) and intermediate positions for fine adjustment.
