Description

MESI mTABLET ABI - Smart, wireless Ankle-Brachial Index measurement in just 1 minute

MESI mTABLET ABI is a fully automated, wireless solution for fast and reliable Ankle-Brachial Index measurements. Designed for everyday clinical practice, it supports the early detection of Peripheral Arterial Disease (PAD) and delivers objective, operator-independent results in just 1 minute.

The system combines 3CUFF™ technology for simultaneous pressure measurements with SmartArm™ detection, which automatically identifies the arm with the higher blood pressure. The PADsense™ algorithm, detailed pulse waveforms and oscillation graphs support result interpretation and provide clear alerts when signs of severe PAD are detected.

Why choose MESI mTABLET ABI?
  • Fully automated ABI measurement in just 1 minute
  • Simultaneous three-cuff measurement with 3CUFF™ technology
  • SmartArm™ detection of the higher blood pressure in either arm
  • PADsense™ algorithm for advanced result analysis and clinical alerts
  • Detailed pulse waveforms and oscillation graphs
  • Multiple cuff sizes for accurate and comfortable measurements
  • Different cuff sizes can be combined during the same measurement
  • Comprehensive digital reports with access to previous results
  • Wireless data transfer and integration with compatible EHR systems
  • Minimal training required, with no need for Doppler expertise

Complete arterial assessment with ABI and TBI
For a more comprehensive assessment of lower-limb perfusion, MESI mTABLET ABI can be combined with the MESI mTABLET TBI module in a single integrated workflow.

ABI provides a fast first-line assessment for patients at cardiovascular risk. TBI extends PAD detection to patients for whom ABI may be less conclusive, including those with incompressible arteries or very low perfusion. It is particularly valuable for patients with an ABI above 1.41 and for populations such as people with diabetes, chronic kidney disease or metabolic syndrome, as well as older adults.

By combining ABI and TBI on the same platform, healthcare professionals can assess a broader range of patients, store results in one place and make more informed referral or treatment decisions.

Software extensions
MESI mTABLET ABI is more than an advanced ABI measuring device. The modular MESI mTABLET platform can be expanded with additional applications and wireless diagnostic modules as clinical needs evolve.

Applications such as BP and PHOTO enable healthcare professionals to measure blood pressure or document and monitor the healing of skin conditions—all on the same device and in just a few clicks.

This flexible approach brings multiple diagnostic measurements, patient data and clinical workflows together in one connected system.
