The door insulates rooms in which the temperature may decrease to -25. The Metaflex Polaris is a sliding door and cuts through the air. As a result, the cold air downdraught created when the door is opened remains limited. The room seals the doorway hermetically, in turn reducing energy comsumption to a minimum. The highly-insulating properties and long life span make this sliding freezer door ideal for freezer rooms in food, distribution and transport sectors. Airtight door The Metaflex Polaris Freezer is delivered including installation frame, including heat tape, sill and aluminium rail construction with an indentation to attain an airtight sealing function. The door leaf is 120mm thick. It is made up of replaceable panels, with a core of polyurethane (CFC free) and a stainless steel rim, thermal bridge-free. Finish in stainless steel or coated steel plate. All around, the blade is equipped with a sealing rubber. The door is also equipped with a stainless steel protective bumper.
