Overview
MetaMedicsVR AI Platform is a web-based virtual patient simulation platform for health sciences education. It runs in any browser on any device, with no VR headset required. Educators author clinical scenarios and students train with conversational AI patients, virtual patient cases and branching decision modules. Every interaction is recorded, transcribed and scored against educator-defined rubrics, supporting competency assessment and accreditation reporting.
Core modules

• Conversational Simulator: natural voice or text interaction with AI patients that present distinct personalities, emotional states and full clinical histories; unscripted conversation; sessions recorded and transcribed for review.
• Virtual Patient Simulator: complete clinical simulations where learners examine a patient, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and make treatment decisions with evolving consequences.
• Clinical Decision Cases: branching scenarios that train diagnostic reasoning, prioritisation and decision-making under time pressure.
• Interactive & Gamified Content: clinical comics, mini-games and scenario-based modules for anatomy, pharmacology, pathophysiology and ethics.
• Content Authoring Tool: converts the educator's own slide decks, PDFs and recorded lectures into presentations, videos, podcasts, simulations and interactive modules.

Integration
Connects to institutional LMS platforms (Moodle, Canvas, Google Classroom and others) so grades and completion data sync automatically: no parallel gradebook.
