Bipolar scissors for open surgery enable cutting and preparing during simultaneous coagulation. Bipolar scissors are ideally suited for precise point- or surface-shaped coagulation. The electrical current runs between both scissor blades in a limited tissue area. The use of bipolar scissors therefore offers more safety for the patient as compared to monopolar scissors. Supercut“ bipolar scissors are available in lengths 18 and 21 cm. The sharp blades enable an especially fine and precise cut during simultaneous and/or alternate tissue coagulation.
