Overview
Mesoft® is a sterile soft, absorbent nonwoven swab intended for pre‑operative skin cleansing, wound cleansing and protection, and for absorbing wound exudate. It is suitable as a secondary dressing for non‑exuding wounds.

How the product works
Mesoft® can be used moistened (e.g. saline) or as a secondary dressing over a primary dressing (e.g. Mepitel®One). Intended for non‑exuding wounds such as sutured surgical wounds.

• Protects the wound from external trauma.
• Should be fixed with a separate fixation device (e.g. Mefix, Mepore Film) or a bandage.
• Can be used with cleansing detergents or water.
• The wound should be kept clean and protected from clothing contact and external trauma.

Precautions

• If Mesoft® is kept on the wound while the wound is drying, there is a risk the product will adhere to granulating tissue.
• Reusing the product may deteriorate performance and risk cross‑contamination.
• Sterile. Do not use if inner package is damaged or opened prior to use. Do not re‑sterilise.
