Overview
Mepi™ Debripad is a sterile debridement pad designed for removal of devitalised tissue from superficial, chronic and acute wounds and for cleansing peri‑wound skin. It absorbs exudate and debris while allowing gentle mechanical debridement. Suitable for dry, parchment‑like, hyperkeratotic, seborrhoeic or oily healthy or damaged skin.

How the product works

• Remove any existing wound dressing.
• Soak Mepi™ Debripad in 20 ml sterile saline or an appropriate wound cleansing solution.
• Insert your hand into the mitt side of the pad.
• Wipe the wound surface gently without applying pressure; use the unused side to clean peri‑wound skin.
• Continue standard treatment for the wound after debridement.
• Dispose of the used pad as clinical waste according to local procedures.
• Use a new pad for each wound on the same patient.

Precautions

• Use under the guidance of a healthcare professional.
• Single use only — do not re‑use or re‑sterilise.
• Do not use if the package is damaged or pad appears contaminated.
• Do not cut the pad or leave it in contact with the wound.
• Keep out of reach of children and animals; not for ingestion.

Warnings

• Do not use on patients with known sensitivity to any component materials.
• Not intended for surgical implantation.
• Do not use on hard necrotic tissue or on viable/granulating tissue.
