High-grade mattresses for decubitus prophylaxis, made with MOLTO visco-elastic lining
• AUTOMATIC REDUCTION OF PRESSURE
Two-layer mattress. A MOLTO visco-elastic lining on the top side is underpadded by a cold foam core. The
visco-elastic thermal foam reacts to pressure and warmth (see picture B) and optimises the adaptation
to the body. This results in body support across the entire surface. MOLTOSLOW adapts to the contours
of the body for optimum distribution of pressure and reacts to the patient's every move, significantly
reducing the shear stress. A perforation of the lining is not possible thanks to the underpadding. In addition,
the sensory release of pressure "fixates" the patient into his lying position.
• AIR CIRCULATION
Horizontal air canals, perforated from end to end in supportive alignment to the body, allow for continuous
air circulation in all lying and sitting positions.
• STURDY EDGE REINFORCEMENT
The reinforcement of the edges with high anti-compression hardening enables stable sitting across the
bed and supports the mobilisation of patients as well as the option of lying across the bed. It also offers
resistance to any sideway rolling. In addition, the edges are padded with visco-elastic thermal foam,
allowing people to sit on the edge of the mattress for long periods of time. It provides wheelchair-bound
persons with safety and independence.
• NON-ENERGETIC
No power units, no electronic adjustments, and no complications from power outages thanks to the
concept of non-energy prophylaxis. Can be used anywhere, no noise emissions, easy handling.
