Description

This skin punch will pierce dense skin with ease. The rotating hole template offers five (5) different hole sizes. Easy-to-read staple counter. Low profile for clear view. Arrow guide assists accurate placement. Disposable. Instruction for Use: Dry incision site to remove excess fluid. Place incision sealer of choice in the site. When closing skin flap on a post autopsy case, insert a 13 mm/25.4 mm strip of absorbent towel or cotton in the incision site for best seal. With tissue forceps, pull one side of skin to opposite side to close the incision. Position the stapler over the incision aligning the arrow on the stapler nose with the skin edges. Compress the trigger completely and release completely. Continue in this fashion to the next position and repeat steps 4 and 5. Staples should be placed no more than 1/4″ apart to insure good closure without leakage. Cover incision site with adhesive product of choice and cover with cotton or plastic. Stapler may be sterilized between uses by cold or gas sterilization. Do not use heat or steam sterilization methods. Dispose of empty stapler in infectious Waste Container.
