The product is intended for use as a serological test for the detection of both current and past with H. pylori. Unlike an ELISA, the MP Diagnostics HELICO BLOT 2.1 allows for the detection of antibodies to specific proteins of H. pylori, including antigens associated with pathology such as CagA and VacA.
