OverviewThis model is specifically designed for people with reduced mobility and for wheelchair users. Armrests provide additional security during evacuation and assist with transfer from a wheelchair into the Escape-Chair. The footrest supports the legs and helps maintain circulation when the evacuee must remain seated for an extended period (for example, in a refuge area or assembly point). A footrest is recommended for evacuations from buildings of five floors or more.
