Overview
D-TECT IP is an intelligent IP transceiver that provides radio coverage via a network connection. It transmits and receives radio traffic and is designed for use with the D-SERVER solution. The unit supports Power over Ethernet (IEEE 802.3af Class2 PoE) for discreet installations and can alternatively be powered by an AC adapter (7.5V DC, 0.45A).

Integration and security
The device integrates with D-SERVER for device health monitoring and batch firmware upgrades. Secure communication is supported via the NIPS protocol. The web interface supports HTTPS and password protection. The ACK Members feature ensures that acknowledgements are sent only to listed members; the ACK member list is editable in D-SERVER and automatically propagated to connected D-TECT IP units. Using SCAIP, alarms from accessories can be forwarded to external alarm management platforms.
