Partial step beveling allows precise material removal in defined zones, supporting specialty and complex frame geometries. The ME-1 accepts lenses up to ø90 mm and step heights up to 11 mm, enabling advanced bevel requirements for lab production.
High curve and custom beveling for sport and specialty framesNIDEK’s front and rear independent grinding function produces high base curve bevels with precise control. Operators can adjust bevel position and height manually. Trapezoidal beveling with adjustable front/rear heights and apex width improves both fit and finish for curved and sport designs.
