Operio laminar air flow units can be used to perform intravitreal injections also outside the normal operating room guaranteeing an extreme high level of asepsis which is in many situation much better than any operating room as the system is very close positioned to the patient and instruments. A special sterile draping of the unit makes sure that all essential parts for the functioning of the intravitreal injections are covered sterile. The unit filters 400m3/h which means that a room with 40m3 will be completely filtered each 6 minutes.
