NC 40M / 90M Laboratory Steam Sterilizers Especially developed for the steam sterilization of liquid and culture media, the NC 40M and NC 90M are the latest developments benefitting from NÜVE’s long experience in steam sterilization. A flexible temperature probe can be placed in a liquid container to ensure that the required sterilization time only starts when the fluids themselves are at the temperature stated in the protocol. With its 4,3’’ colourful display, N -Smart™ control system includes pre-set program for ease of use. NuveCom™ communication unit includes many advance functions for additional safety and traceability. A dramatic reduction in cooling time to just one third of that from a conventional design is an important advantage as sterilizing fluids have a large heat capacity. A fractionated exhaust system with steam condensation prevents liquids from boiling as pressure is reduced. This feature also protects fragile products such as glassware from breaking. Careful design provides a larger flask capacity than most steam sterilizers of similar volume for the most popular flasks.
