OverviewOil-free dry compressor designed to produce medical compressed air. Driven by two twin-cylinder engines, fitted with a 50 L tank and rated maximum working pressure of 8 bar. Maximum sound level: 62 dB. A two-column dryer ensures delivery of dry air. CE certified and tested to ISO 8573-1 Class 0. Suitable for up to 3 dental units.
Drying and air qualityControlling humidity and contaminants in compressed air reduces corrosion, leaks and component failures. From generation to point of use, dryers and filters condition air to meet medical and laboratory requirements and extend equipment service life.
Absorption dryers- Use desiccant media (hygroscopic salt grains or alumina) to absorb moisture from compressed air.
- Can achieve pressure dew points (PDP) below 3 °C (available down to −40 °C or −70 °C).
- Recommended where ambient temperature can fall below freezing to prevent ice formation in pipes and components.
- Common in chemical, food and pharmaceutical applications.
- Desiccant requires replacement approximately once per year depending on usage.
Refrigeration dryersHumid compressed air is cooled by a heat exchanger so water condenses and is removed via an automatic drain. Refrigeration dryers require minimal maintenance and no regular component replacement. Not recommended for ambient temperatures below 3 °C because condensate may freeze. Typical PDP: greater than 3 °C.
ISO 8573-1 Class 0Class 0 certification indicates air purity tested to the most stringent standard with no detectable oil traces in the outlet air stream, reducing contamination risk for medical and laboratory equipment.
