Konimeter Friction measuring device for tapered crowns is a state of the art apparatus for providing proper support on tapering the crown of a tooth or set of teeth. These tapered crowns will require a high degree of precision so optimum bonding can be achieved. Using this device will measure the effective bonding forces when applying fit tapered crowns to, or removing them from, anteriors, molars and premolars. The bonding force of this dental fitting, for which values (degrees) are available from clinical experience, can only be determined accurately using a particular measuring instrument.
