Luteinizing Hormone (LH) Test
LH, called luteinizing hormone, is produced in the anterior pituitary gland and is mainly used to diagnose infertility tests, such as irregular menstruation and ovarian or testicular disease. In women, luteinizing hormone affects the regulation of the menstrual cycle and ovulation, and in men, it stimulates specific cells in the testicles to produce testosterone, which plays a role in sperm production.
