Follicle-stimulating Hormone (FSH) Test
Follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH) is a gonadotropin secreted from the anterior pituitary gland. It is used for male and female infertility tests along with reproductive hormones such as luteinizing hormone (LH), progesterone, and testosterone. If women have high levels of FSH, menstrual irregularities or menopause can be predicted, and in men, it helps to determine diseases associated with testes and low sperm count.
