Double Button Pro is a fixation system for syndesmosis and acromioclavicular (AC) joint procedures, adapted for both arthroscopic and open approaches with plate fixation. The system enables controlled deployment of a straight and a round button to stabilize the joint.

System components
The kit includes a 12 mm straight button and selectable round button options of 6 mm, 8 mm or 10 mm, compatible suture limbs and the single-instrument deployment device.

Application and technique
The system’s principal benefit is a single-instrument application technique that removes the need for a separate passing pin. After preparing a bone tunnel with a 3.8–4.2 mm drill, the straight button is released using the trigger mechanism. The round button is seated by alternating tension on the suture limbs, followed by knot tying and cutting.
