Description

Overview
Philips Rembra RT is a CT simulation system designed to support personalized radiotherapy planning by improving tumor delineation while sparing healthy tissue. The system integrates AI-assisted reconstruction, extended 4D scanning capabilities and workflow tools to support treatment planning and patient setup.

Key features
  • Precise Image — AI reconstruction: Deep-learning based reconstruction improves low-contrast detectability, reduces image noise and enables potential CT dose reductions. Reference protocols reconstruct rapidly (typically under one minute for standard protocols, excluding 4DCT).
  • Long-term reliability and service: Designed for long operational life with maintenance and upgrade options. Offers Tube for Life coverage options for tube replacement during defined warranty periods and vMRC tube smart-card monitoring. AI-enabled Remote Services enable proactive system monitoring to increase uptime.
  • Reach 4D: Extended 4D scan coverage in both scan length and breath rate (supporting breath rates 4–40), with enhanced tube-time capability for scans from lungs to liver (up to 500 scan seconds). Console tools provide MIP/MinIP/AIP projections and waveform visualization and integrate motion management and metal artifact reduction for 4D workflows.
  • OnPlan gantry-side controls: Gantry touchscreen controls on both sides and at front/back allow clinicians to remain close to the patient during setup. Controls include laser marker activation, table adjustments and access to patient data, images and waveforms at the gantry.
  • Extended Field of View (85 cm EFOV): 85 cm EFOV increases setup flexibility and visualization of peripheral anatomy beyond the bore to aid treatment preparation and to accommodate larger patients (EFOV intended for planning/preparation, not diagnostic use).
  • Detector optimized for AI reconstruction: NanoPanel Precise XD detector delivers dose-efficient, high-resolution imaging with 4 cm z-coverage and high in-plane resolution to support AI-based reconstruction workflows.
  • High-performance RT table: Dual-indexed tabletop compatible with Varian and Elekta treatment planning systems and multi-vendor immobilization. Extended scan range up to 2 m, clinical-height lowering and faster longitudinal table speed to streamline radiotherapy workflows.

Notes and performance remarks
  • Feature availability is subject to local regulatory clearance/approvals; some features may not be for sale in all countries.
  • In clinical practice, AI reconstruction may enable CT dose reduction depending on clinical task, patient size and anatomy; consult radiologists and medical physicists to determine appropriate dose for diagnostic image quality.
  • Actual service experience and performance guarantees depend on contract terms, system configuration, geography and external factors such as parts availability.
